Hi there! 

My name is Albert and I operate and manage Upper Hutt Metals. The Zammit family have been in the scrap metal business for quite some time. My great grandfather was a scrap metal dealer and when my family migrated to New Zealand my father, seeing so many manufacturers located in Upper Hutt at the time, saw a need for a local scrap metal dealer that was a bit closer to reach as, at the time, the nearest dealer was in Petone. Once Upper Hutt Metals was founded, the scrap metal began to pour in, with many companies requesting an industrial bin onsite that they could fill each week. This prompted our brother company, Bin Hire Upper Hutt to be founded. A few decades later, Upper Hutt Metals remains a familiar face in the Hutt Valley who offer a great, sustainable service at a fair price.
